This weekend took place the Greek Indoor Championship (at Paiania, nearby Athens).

1st day (14/2)
Louis Tsatoumas of Olympiakos won for 12th time in a row at greek Nationals the long-jump event, with the very good performance of 8,12 (8,20 is -his- national record which succeed 2 weeks ago)
and he will compete at the European Championship (Turin, 6-8/3) with the leading performance at the time.
Nikoleta Kyriakopoulou of E.A.Rethymno won the pole vault with 4,35 and she will be at Turin too, aiming to be over the 4,50m.

2nd day
Paraskevi Papachristou of AEK won the triple jump -a traditionaly strong event for the greek athletes.
16,47 for Dimitris Tsiamis, the men's winner.
At 60m hurdles, Konstantinos Douvalidis of E.A.Rethymno won with 7"74, a performance close to the National record (7"70).
At the 3km race, Konstantina Efentaki of OFKA Odysseus ran under 9' (8"58"12) and under the qualification standard.
Antonia Stergiou won the highjump competition with 1,86, same performace with the 2nd winner Papageorgiou.

Panellinios GS took the lead at the mens scoring tables, while EA.Rethymno was the woman's winner.
